“Honesty and Integrity - these were two of the most fundamental values my father, Mr Mohammed Ali, had instilled in me ever since I was a child. He was a man who taught not just through words but also through action, and when he started this family business, more than 60 years ago, I saw him apply these principles in practice. So when the day came that I first joined the business after completing my graduation, I made a promise to myself - to maintain the same honesty and integrity that I had seen my father apply into this business and to keep up the quality that my father had worked day and night to uphold.

Upon joining the business, my first target was to turn the shortcomings and weaknesses of my competitors and those around us into our business’ biggest strengths. So we, at Jafree Traders, worked relentlessly to make delivery time and availability our biggest assets. As a result of this, we have more than 2153+ retailers across the country who have the confidence to sell to their customers - due to the quality and reliability we promise and the faith they place on us. Ever since my father’s time we have been selling products from self-imported, ready stock, which very few sellers in Bangladesh can claim to do.

Jafree Traders had been working only in retail and wholesale ever since we started, but we had been in planning to grow from there for the past 15 years. We put in more than a decade of honest dedication, detailed ground work and tireless effort to develop the capacity and infrastructure to be able to turn our dream into a reality and in the past 5 years we have taken several corporate clients and projects alongside our retail and wholesale business.

We have always been proud of the honesty and quality we serve, but we have never stopped there. What makes Jafree Traders stand out is our constant endeavour to keep improving. “If we are the best at something, how can we do that even better?” This is the mindset that my father brought in to work daily, and passed on to me, and that I have imparted onto my employees. We persistently look to innovate, and so we send our employees to foreign countries to learn about and bring new ideas back home. It is our pride to claim that we have been the first importers and market introducers of many new products in Bangladesh.
